I groaned a I walked into math class. I took a seat near the back. Math sucked. I wasn't bad at it but it was not fun.

I was one of the last ones in the classroom. I sat in a desk next to Jess; I had heard she could be kind of a jerk, but I wanted to give her a chance. When she looked my way I gave her a smile. "Hi!"

I took the last paper and wrote my name in neat cursive at the top. "Yup! Im sure its going to be fun! What are you going to wear?" I looked at the syllabus and frowned. I was going to have issues with math this year.

Umm sweet shoppe? Jess I wrote my name quickly and turned in my seat slightly. She was brig very buddy buddy. "I'm not sure, probably just shorts and a top." I shrugged. "It depends on my mood" I said shortly. She looked at her paper like it was the death penalty. I laughed under my breath. |

"Ok, thanks. I knew thats what the invite said, but i didnt want to be the only one to show up casual." I flipped through the next few pages of the syllabus and sighed. "I give up on math. Im going to need a lot of tutoring..."
