How does one get detention on their first day? It's a simple story, really. I had my phone on, and - lucky me - it was turned all the way up. Then, my friend decided to call me. Well, of course I had to have one of the most inappropriate ringtone, and "Shake Your Crazy Ass" started blaring in the middle of Ms. Utz math class.
Let's just say it didn't end well.
Anyways, I walked into the detention room and handed my note to the teacher on duty and chose a seat. Then, I pulled out my phone and began texting my best guy friend from back home under the desk.

I got caught skate boarding in the halls and got a detention. It was what ever. i walked in and took a seat behind a girl.

I watched as another guy walked in and took the seat behind me. I wondered what he was in for. I thought I had recognized him from maybe my History class, but I couldn't have been sure.

"Hey you," I poked the girl in front of me. "Do I know you?"

I whipped around to look at the guy. "Um, I think so. I'm Caitlin. Don't we have the same History class?"

I nodded. "Oh, yeah. What are you in for?" I asked.

"My phone started blaring an 'inappropriate' song during math." I shook my head. "Adults need to get over it."

I rolled my eyes."Teachers think they are so in control. Ill teach them otherwise." I smirked.

I grinned. "I'm curious to know what you have in mind."

"That is for me to know and for you to have." I smirked.
