Surgery

Carson
It was around 5:00 A.M., and I was waiting for a school car to come get me. I had to go to the real hospital to get the surgery done. I sat on a bench outside of the infirmary where they were picking me up. The nerves of the whole day were getting to me; the surgery was scary alone, and the fact my dad was going to be there didn't help. I hadn't seen him since I arrived at canterwood. I looked out at the path towards the dorms, not seeing any movement. I told Harley I was getting surgery this morning, but I didn't know of she would come cause it's early on a Saturday. I sighed, trying yo forget my jitters.

[Tori]

Harley
I walked the campus with my hair in a messy bun. I had went on a quick ride around 4 this morning and knew Carson was getting his surgery. After riding I went back to my room and quickly changed into a light and dark grey stripped sweater, skinny jeans, and grey uggs. I jogged to the infirmary, not wanting to miss him. I walked over to where he was sitting. "Hey." i said smiling warmly.

Carson
My face lifted a little when I saw Harley. "Hey. Thanks for coming." I yawned a little and tried to comb my fingers through my messy hair. I probably looke terrible; I barely slept and didn't really comb through my hair this morning. "How are you?"

[Tori]

Harley
"Im good. Romeo was great this morning." I smiled. "How are you doing?" I asked, sitting down next to him.

Carson
I shrugged. "Ok. I'm kind of nervous for the surgery, but I'll be fine." I gave her a smile and tried to act strong for her. The van pulled up. "Let's go." I said. I held the door open for her and we stepped in the car.

[Tori]

Harley
I got in. "You're going to be okay." I gave his hand a squeeze.

Carson
"Thanks." I Said with a smile. I gazed out the window. "It's gunna be weird to see my dad."

[Tori]

Harley
"Just smile and keep your head up." I told him. "I'll beat him up if I have to." I joked.

[chargergirlz]

Carson
I laughed. Only she could make me do that on a day like today. "Oh I can only imagine." I smiled. "Just stay away from a tall guy that looks just like me. He'll probably be on a cellphone."

[Tori]

Harley
"Nah, I was thinking I would give him a big hug." I joked with a wink. I didn't want him to be nervus so I was keeping the conversation light.

Carson
"That would not be good." I joked. We rode in silence and before I knew it, we were at the hospital. Harley and I got out and followed one of the doctors to a waiting room. Thankfully I hadn't seen my dad yet. "Sorry you have to wait so long." I said, making a face.

[Tori]

Harley
"Ive been through it all before. Its alright." I said softly.

Carson
I smiled at her, glad she was here. A nurse came out and called my name. I gave harleys hand a squeeze before standing up. "Wish me luck." I smiled. I glanced back in the room one more time; seeing Harley and then my dad, wearing a sports coat and talking on a cell phone. I gave him a quick wave and he nodded back, sitting down. Hopefully Harley wouldn't talk to him. I walked into a room. The doctor helped me get ready for the procedure then talked to me for a few minuets. Finally, I laid down and got a shot of anesthesia. This was it. In what fell like a few seconds, I fell into a drop sleep.

Harley
I watched him go and crossed my fingers when he walked into the other room. I sighed and sat back.

Carson
It felt like only a few minuets later when I woke up. I felt groggy, and my shoulder killed. I told the nurse she could send in my family and friends and waited for Harley. Once she left, I fell asleep.
