Maizie
I stood in the barns mucking Burlesques stall. Even though I was on a full riding scholarship part of my agreement was to muck stalls. Yay. I was almost done with Burlesques (I had saved hers for last since I was going to ride her.) and I was already whipped out. I had been cleaning all day. I was used to working all day and I didn't know why i'd thought this would be different. Yeah, Maizie, so much easier then waiting tables and lifting grain bags. I thought bitterly. I stopped finally and sat down agaist the outer wall out Burlesques stall closeing my eyes for a brief moment.

I saw a girl walk right by me with out aknowedging my existance. I had just finished cleaning her horses stall before Burlesques. She was dressed to the nines while I had old jeans a Tshirt and cowboy boots on. Real classy Maiz. I thought and stood up and took Burlesque out of her stall ting her in the front.

I kissed Flash's nose and then realized some girl behind me leading out Burlesque, a pretty school horse. I grabbed Flash's tack of the tack rack and collapsed it so it was out of her way.

I walked into the stables, wearing my favorite breeches. They looked like jeans but had suede padding inside the knees and thighs and made me look comfy but not too over-the-top. I wore a crisp white Polo-shirt and tall boots with small spurs. My honey blond hair was in a pony tail and I wore clear lip gloss.

I changed into my paddock boots and pulled on way wore out half chaps. I smiled to both the girls nervously. "I'm Maizie." I said

I lead Flash out of her stall and saw how bad her mane was. I groaned and lead her to the nearest cross-ties "Really, girl? What happened?" I walked to the tackroom and grabbed my special mane manager comb/puller thingy. After about 5 min, I managed to tame her mane and I started to tack her up

"Is that your horse?" I asked as she walked up to a stall with a stunning gelding in it. I had just been cleaning that stall too and thinking how amaizing he was.
