I smiled leading King behind her. "So, lets see, no jumps set up..... I looked at the jumps stacked in the corner, "How about you pick the first half and I pick the second?" I asked

"Sure" I looped Dare's reins over my arm and went to setting up two verticals, one combination, and 2 crossrails. "This good?"

I smiled "perfect" I jumped down from King's back and threw the reins over his neck "Ground tying." I told Chloe and went to the jumps. I set up an oxer then Hogs back another oxer and a triple combo. "Is that okay?" I asked

"Perfect" I swung a leg over Dare and adjusted my stirrups before starting him at a working walk towards the rail

I backed King to the rail and to watch Chloe and Dare work at this course we had made

I trtted him for a half lap, then cantered, heading for the first jump. Dare flew over it easily but took off a stride to early. He is very chill for an Arabian so he took the jumps calmly until the last one where he knocked down the top rail. I pulled him up to a walk and gave him a huge hug "Good boy!" Then I walked over to Mason "Comments?"

I smiled "First jump you took off a half a stride too early, you might want to hold him back some. And on the last jump, it looked as if you were up on his neck too much and that scared him. That's why he knocked the rail." I said. "Don't worry that's his fault NOT yours." I said walking King forward a step.

I smiled "Thanks, yeah I felt the extra stride near the first one. He's pretty calm for an Arabian but I let him out to much"

I nodded seeing his dished face small hooves and tail on the top of his croop. "I agree, King is a Friesian, but he isn't as good in dressage as people think" I said. I clucked him into a trot and started for the first jump. I made a kissing sound and turned his head slightly to the side bringing my inside foot back kicking. He jumped into a canter on the right lead and soon I rose out of the saddle over King's neck and over the jump. Ease. The next jump as another vertical. We flew over it and was headed for the first jump of the triple combo. King leaped over it and then we headed for the next part. Up and over. Last jump of the combo was low and easy. Now we headed for two cross rails. "Good boy." I whispered as we went over the jump. Next. And finally we headed for the oxer. The red and white rails didn't faze King as we flew over them and the triple combo. I watched Kings mane as I rose into two point position. This jump we only had about an inch to spare. After the jump I new what went wrong. King almost knocked the rail because King had taken off a second two early. I stroked his neck and stopped in front of Chloe "Comments?" I asked

"I bit of an early take-off at the end. Not bad though" I smiled as Dare dozed. I looked down at Dare and sighed "He's such a baby! He's always been. When he was born my dad told me I should name him Teddy Bear but I wanted him to be named after his mother 'Sheza Daredevil'"
