I smiled as Banner nickered to me, his tall head out of the stall door. I laughed as I approached him. I had just made a batch of homemade horse treats. I had gotten my recipe from the latest YoungRider issue, and it had payed off. I gave Banner one of the peppermint/oat/molasses treats. Banner gobbled it up and nickered bobbing his head, and scratching the stall door. I laughed and gave him another.

SUMMER
I walked int he barn to ride Apolo past a dark haired girl feeding her horse deformed treats. I rolled my eyes.

Banner, seamed to love them, but I set them on his tack trunk and elad him to some cross ties that where exactly a stall away.
I brushed Banner while feeding him all the treats gradually.

I pulled Apolo out and saw the girl had the mutt of a horse out. "Um, your in my way. Move."

"Nah, I'm good. Cross ties are already in tact." I said grabbing my saddle.

"Not really. Actually it gives me more energy then trying to move my horse over." I said swinging it onto his huge back.

"No." I said tightening the girth. I found mt bridle, and unclipped one of the cross ties from one of side of his halters. "If you want to go by with that kind of room..." I shook my head. "Watch out, he kicks." I said slipping the bit into Banner's mouth, I did his buckles, and put on his five-point breast plate.

I rolled my eyes. Apollo reached foreword to bite the horse on the nose and I let him.

Banner let out a deafening-scream and reared twice, almost breaking the cross ties. I set my hand on his withers and he stopped, snorted, then settled down, but his ears where still pinned back.....he and I where both pissed. "Oh, did I mention that he rears too." I said.

Apollo and I both jumped back. "Good God! Control your freaking donkey!" I snapped with a glare. "He is such a spaz," I huffed.
