I felt uncomfortable in the middle of their fight so I urged Tassel into a canter and rode ahead of them.

I turned towards the jumps at the far end of the arena. Tassel was ready. He perked his ears and we cantered forward. We sailed through the jumps and I thought I was doing pretty good until we started knocking down polls. By the end of the course only five jumps were standing. I sighed and sank down in the saddle laying my head on Tassels neck. I was SO embarrassed.

I watched the girl jump. "On the one's that stood, good job. The first three that fell were your fault. You pulled too much on his mouth on the landing. The other two were his fault. He overjumped one and took off to early on the other."
