I quickly groomed Royal, the horse Skye got for me, and put his tack on. "Con you ask Mr. Connor to come To the indoor arena?" I asked Doug. He nodded and walked towards mr. Connor's office. I walked royal to the indoor arena. I adjusted my helmet and nervously mounted Royal, waiting for Mr connor.

I nodded and quickly set up the course. "Ok, will you do a sitting trot from A to D, and than a posting trot D to B. Then pick up a canter from B to G,"

I nodded and signaled Royal to start. I've only ridden him a few times, but everytime we did, something clicked. We were perfect for eachother. He smoothly trotted from A to D, then picked up the pace a tad as we went from D to B. After that, I squezed my legs to he went into a collected canter. I waited for further instructions.

I nodded and relaxed my legs back into a posting trot. Once we hit G, I switched to a regular, smooth trot. Royal then did a nice two point to r.

I set up the course quickly, with jumps of different heights. "Begin when your ready,"

I nodded and circled Royal a couple time. I examined the course; 6 jumps, increasing in height. Difficult, but do-able. Royal cantered towards the first jump and I quietly counted his strides in my head. Once I said 1, Royal leapt into the air, his hooves far from touching the rail.
We soared over the second and third just like we did the first one. The fourth was a faux stone wall. Royal's ear pricked forward; He was getting cocky. I did a half halt and his attention came back to me. We got over the fourth jump with ease, and I made a sharp turn towards the fith jump. It was decored with bright striped, but that didnt faze Royal.
The last just was probably the hardest. A triple; each jump an inch or so higher than the first. Royal jumped over the first one with ease. I quickly counted the strides in my head as Royal approached the second and thrid. We finished the course with no faults. I had a small smile on my face as I walked back to Mr. Connor.
