I smiled and squeezed Petri into a canter. He got excited, so I did a few circles-four to be exact. We popped over the first jump, and I looked to the oxer. We got seven strides and hit the sweet spot of the oxer. We landed, and I made sure to give clear cues through the rollback. I felt myself leaning forward, and corrected that. We got through the rollback, and jumped the swedish oxer. I leaned back, slowing Petri down. We finally looked to the last jump in the course-a single, with pretty flowers around it. Petri stared at the flower, and I played with the reins, getting his attention. We jumped it, landing powerfully. We had mistakes (of course) but that was the best course I had ever done.

"Very good, Strong ride" i smiled. I told her the flaws and then said "Go take care of your horse and rest, youve earned it" i said.
