How An Angel Dies (Bay & Teagan)

I tacked up Glory in barn after my last class on Friday. My big grey gelding was well mannered but was in a testy mood today. He pulled back on the crossties which was completely abnormal for him "Hey" I scolded him sharply with a flick of my crop on his side. "You know better Glory" I added as I finished tacking him. I lead him towards the arena and he crowded the door. I flicked his chest with my crop "Get back" and he took a few steps backwards. I then opened the door and he followed behind. I went to go mount him and he took a step forward, causing me to pull back firmly on his reins as he learned his lesson and stood still. He behaved nicely while I adjusted the girth from the saddle and I gave his shoulder a stroke "That's my boy"

I brought Stella into the arena, wearing black breeches, a grey lacy tanktop, and black riding boots. My hair was in a French braid under my helmet. There was a girl in there already, sitting on top of her horse standing near the entrance. I smiled at her. "mind if I ride in here with you?" I asked.

"Feel free" I told a girl who entered in "But I will warn you that my gelding is in a particularly testy mood" he whinnied loudly towards the other horse and bobbed his head. He's way to much of a friendly horse

I laughed. "He's so cute!" I said, giving him a small pat. I mounted my creme colored pony. "I'm Teagan. And this is Stella!" I said with a smile.
