I walked into Warr's barn and found him freaking out again. He was in his mood.
"Warr, calm down." I said softly, he was bucking, and pawing the door, then rearing and bucking again.
I clapped loudly to get his attention. There was only one other horse in the barn, I had saw three going out, and the others must be in the pastures.
"Warr!" I said. My voice slightly echoed.
Warr's head snaped up and he calmed down.
"Whoa boy." I said and walked over, I put on his neon blue nylon halter, and lead rope.
"Whoa boy." I said.
I don't know his whole story, but when I bought him the owners just sead they bought him at auction.
But I think he was abused. I find scars on him, especially on his back legs, hind end, and flanks. But they a pretty well covered up, enough that judges won't see, at least.
I quickly brushed him and tacked him up in his dressage gear. Warr put his ears back at the bit, but was alright taking it. "Good boy." I said. I had really come a looong way with him.
When I pulled out the dressage whip, I rubbed it along his neck. I never actually used it, but it scared him enough to listen to me, and I was slowly weaning him off of it.
I put my hair in a pony, put on my black Cheyenne Rowdy helmet and mounted the skittish Warr quickly.
I see-sawed the bit in Warr's mouth, and he dropped his head quickly. Making his neck into the perfect arch.
I clicked to him and took two laps at the walk, before going into a trot, my Warmbllod picking up his hooves high, and nice. I smiled, remembering the first time I put chain boots on him. Warr wasn't in his mood, but was completely confused, not wanting to walk forward.
I slightly cued for him to half pass at E, going to B, and when at B, I changed direction and did a canter-pirouette, I cantered him down the straight, extended trot on ends, and after a few laps, I canter-pirouetted him in circles.
