I had gray sweats and a green hoodie on with flats. The gray and green blended into the woods, rendering me nearly invisible, except for the braid of blond hair hanging betweeny shoulderblades. I walked nearly silently on a mattress of pine needles, my old tricks coming back to me.

I wandered through the woods on Flash, bareback. I was so tired. Not physically, but mentally. These aren't technically trails but I needed a change of scenery

I heard a twig snap and Flash's ears shot up. "Probably just a deer, girl" I gave her neck a pat. Then I saw a flash of pale yellow. I rode forward a bit, seeing then that it was Bella
