Personality

Claire is a real country girl and isn't afraid to show it. She's very loud and never afraid to speak her mind. Something though she can be brutally honest and that's how she makes most of her enemies. She really is a likable girl and is really smart although can come off as know it all-ish but doesn't mean to. Claire is a lot like a spitfire. She is the kind of girl who will tell you to put on your big girl boots and get over it because she has seen the real world plenty of times and knows that everything isn't always sunshine and rainbows. She has had to work extremely hard for what she has and really doesn't mind it. Claire is better with horses than she is with people although you'd never guess it by her outgoing personality. If she had the choice she would always be with horses and avoid human contact but of course she can't.

History

Claire’s parents grew up in the city but when her mom was pregnant with her brother Kevin they moved to the country and started doing cattle and goat ranching. Soon they had Claire’s sister Catherine who insisted they got horses and then they had Claire. All three of them grew up riding and are excellent riders. Claire’s first horse was a gorgeous Mustang that she rode on the barrels but she died a few years later of colic. Ever since then Claire did a little catch riding at a few different stables and refused to let her parents get her her own horse again. But two years ago her parents rescued a herd of horses that had been abused and neglected and she found her current horse, Missy. Now Missy's trained as her all arounder in Western. They're learning English and how to jump (only small jumps). Claire got in here on an academic scholarship because there is no way she'd normally be able to afford it.
