Grew up in Jackson County in Tennessee. She lived on a simple farm that had her horse and the goats she bred. When she was 10 she started trailering her horse to a stable to get lessons so she could compete, and fell in love with gaming and jumping. Sydney applied here and was accepted and is now attending on a riding scholarship.
