I sat on the couch in the living room, wearing tight, black yoga pants and a sequin tank top, my hair piled up in a messy bun on top of my head, a green face mask on, and my laptop in front of me.

"Not tan," I said, laughing. I looked horrible in a tan. I wasn't exactly pale, but definetly not tan. "And god, get used to it girl. Two or three years here and you'd think you'd be used to the cold by now!" I joked. I'm from New York, so I was used to the cold.
