After a while, we ended up dozing off for a nap. Well, it ended up being longer than a nap and I woke up around 11. I gently kissed Connor awake. "Let's go." I said. I knew that we had to do it tonight before Connor lost his nerve, and Caitlyn and Cisco wouldn't be there. I got up and started picking up clothes on the floor to put them on.

"Yeah, I'm sure." I said. "I really think you need to do this." Once I was ready, I grabbed a snack for the road and we got in the car. The drive there was mostly silent. I stopped the car right in front of the building. "Ok, I'll be right here." I promised, squeezing his hand.

I watched him walk in then got out and followed him in. There was no way I was sitting in a car in New York at almost midnight alone. Once I was in the hallway, I slowed down. Quietly, I watched Connor from around the corner but kept my distance.

I walked up to the suit and hesitated. I looked up at it and with a deep breath, picked it up. My hands shook as I put the suit on. I walked over to a mirror and slowly slid the mask on. I stared at myself for a while before walking over to the treadmill that we used to use for practice and started to run.

I bit my lip. "I'm sorry... I just didn't want to be alone in the car. And I wanted to be close if you got hurt." I admitted, coming in. "How do you feel?"
