He opened his mouth to protest, but I talked instead. "It's safe there, safer than LA where it would be all in the news if I was there with you." I said to him. "Please just trust me. I'll call you when I get there so you know I'm ok." I said. He was quiet for a moment, then nodded.

In an instant, we were at his place. All the moving, combined with the concussion, made me dizzy. "I think I'll just lay down for a while." I said, sitting down on the bed.
