I smiled and gave her a long kiss, following her. A few minutes later, I heard a knock on the door. I half groaned, half laughed. "It must be your dad. I'll get it." I muttured. Getting up, I quickly fixed my clothes and went to the door. To my surprise, it wasn't her dad. "Bethany?" I asked. She strode right past me. "I need your help." She said quickly. I sighed. "Now? Really?" I asked. "Yes. You know night is the only time that's truly safe." She said. I had so many questions, but decided to wait. I sighed. "Just a second." I muttured, going back to the bedroom where Rowan was. "Ok, don't freak out, but there's a girl in the living room. Don't worry, she's not going to hurt us or anything, she's just not going to leave until I help her." I rolled my eyes.

I sat up in bed, completely gone was the mood that I was just in. "Excuse me?" I asked. "Who is this girl Lucas." I said, getting up and changing into a pair of sweatpants and T-shirt.

She followed me into the living room. "Rowan, this is Bethany. We studied at Quantico together." I said, sitting down. "Bethany, this is Rowan my-" she cut me off. "Your fiancé. I see the ring, and the kids toys. I can't believe you settled down." She smirked. I just ignored. "Ok, what do you need?" I asked. She handed me her computer. "I need you to break into this site. It's for a case, and I've been trying for months to break in but I can't and neither can anyone else. But I knew you could." She said. I smirked. "Yeah, you always sucked with computers." I said, rapidly typing away.

"I'm the the FBI, we keep tags on our former employees." She said with a shrug. "Sorry about your leg by the way" She said. I just ignored her. She looked over my shoulder as I stared at the screen. "So did you go back to NYU?" She asked me. I glanced at Ro, then back at the screen. "No." I muttured.

"I'm sorry for interrupting... Whatever I was inturrupting, but if I'm going to take these guys down I need this done now. Or do you want a bunch of innocent people to die??" Bethany asked. That tore me away from the computer. "Don't talk to her like that. Just shut up, and I'll be done in a second." I snapped. She opened her mouth to fight back, but closed it again and crossed her arms, clearly annoyed.

I huffed. "You're lucky our daughter isn't here. Then we would have a problem." I looked at Lucas. "I want her out in the next ten minutes." I said and turned on my heels, walking out of the room.

I finished up in a couple minutes and handed her back the computer. "I can't believe you did that so fast. And half drunk." She said. I rolled my eyes and opened the door for her to leave. She started to then turned around. "Lucas... I need your help. I got in over my head with this case. All the other agents have less than half of the abilities and skills we do." She whispered, looking into my eyes. I sighed and thought for a minute. Honestly, I missed this work. "Ok, I'll do it. But don't tell anyone." I said, glancing at the bedroom door. She nodded. "I'll get in contact with you." She said before leaving. I closed the door and went back to the bedroom. "I'm so sorry... I had no idea she was coming." I said honestly.
