Outfit- www.polyvore.com/little_black_dress/set?id=191263808Campbell Today was my first day back at work from maternity leave. Mason had the day off, so he was watching the twins. While I trusted him completely, I was still worried. I had never left them yet. Of course Mason would watch them when I napped or showered or something, but I was always there if he needed something. I got up really early- before the twins woke up so I'd have time to get ready. I just finished changing when I heard one of the twins crying. I went and picked up Derek, kissing his cheek. "Good morning." I started to change his diaper, knowing Holland would be up soon. |

I came into the nursery after hearing the babies crying. "Why are you up so early?" I asked as I picked up Holland who was starting to whimper.

I gave him an apologetic look. "I know you can. It's more for me than for you." I admitted. At least writing down directions would give me some peace of mind. "I'm just worried. I've never been apart from them." I whispered softly, putting Derek's soft face close to mine.

I bit my lip. "I know. I'll try not to worry or call." I promised, putting a now happy Derek down. "I should go now." I sighed. I wanted to get there early to gather all my stuff together. "Call if you need anything, ok?"

I said goodbye to the three of them and reluctantly went to work. It was hard to focus at first, but then I got working and it felt like no time had passed. I almost felt guilty for enjoying myself and not being with the twins. It was nice to just have some time to myself. Before I went home, I stopped at the store to get some groceries and stuff for the twins. "Hello?" I called out once I got home.

I came up and smiled softly. "Well, it looks like your day went flawlessly." I said, leaning in to give him a kiss. I put some diapers and other things away in the nursery. "So what did you guys do?" I asked.
