It was a big charity thing that a lot of celebrities were going to. It was always a lot of fun, but I wish Connor was with me. I showed up and the first hour and sat at my table, with a couple people I vaguely worked with and one guy I didn't know. It all was going well and they guy at my table even donated $10,000. But when he went to speak, that's definetly not what happened. Instead of thanking people, he laughed and pulled out a gun. Everyone gasped and panicked. "You're all giving me money, not the other way around." He snarled. No one moved. "What, do you need motivation?" He yelled. He put the gun on my head and instantly my heart stopped. I was going to die. |

I was working on things with Cisco in our private lab when something came over the news. A guy was holding up a high class lunch with one girl at gun point. "Sage. Sage is at that lunch." I grabbed my suit that Cisco had designed and ran. I ran for my life as fast as I can. As I ran everything else around me slowed down. I was closing in on the luncheon when Sage came into view. She was the one with a gun to her head. My heart pounded as I grabbed her and ran her out of the way. I was able to blur my face and voice by vibrating it really fast. "Are you okay?" I asked.

I felt pure shock and confusion, then realized who I was talking to. "No." I cried, wiping my tears. I was just really shaken up. "But um don't worry about me. You should help everyone else." I said, wiping more tears.

I hesitated but nodded and ran back. I grabbed the guy and pulled him into an ally. "Put the gun down!" I yelled. Instead he lifted the gun towards me. I ran at him grabbing the gun and slamming him against the wall. I tied his hands up, but when I saw the police sirens I darted out and went back to the lab. I changed into my regular clothes then ran straight back to the scene and looked around for Sage. "Sage? Sage!" i jogged at a normal speed over to her when I found her, pretty much in the same spot I had left her. "I saw the news. Are you okay?" I asked, pulling her to me and taking a closer look at her to make sure she wasn't hurt.

I nodded, and we walked in silence. Finally we made it to the apartment and I took his hands. "I almost died, and it made me scared that I wouldn't be able to spend the rest of my life with you. Let's get married now." I said seriously. It was probably all the hormones and emotions, but I meant it.
