I woke up to the sound of Connor moving around and saw Connor in the small kitchen. I smiled and wrapped my arms around him. "Hey. Ready for work?"

I headed to work, but a few hours in, I looked out the window and realized that there was a bad thunder and lightning storm starting. I hoped that Sage wasn't stuck in the weather. I stepped back from the window, knowing I had to get going on the work that I was doing. I was working on a high energy electrical piece when I heard a loud crack of lightning. The next thing I knew, everything had slowed downed then it all went black.
