I took the paperwork from her and placed it on the coffee table, then picked her up and put her in my lap. "Try not to think about that tonight." I said, kissing her.

I gave him one more kiss, then leaned back. "I'm sorry Mason.... I can't do this." I whispered. It had been a long time since I had done anything more than kiss him. I was just self conscious about myself after the accident.

I just sighed and decided to drop it. I sat back down next to him. "Oh, and by the way I made a meeting at the clinic for tomorrow morning." I said. I knew he didn't work until that evening.
