I chuckled. "By the end of the week you'll be a pro." I said. We drove for a few minutes before the driver stopped in an underground parking garage to let us out. We went together through a private entrance of an apartment building. We got on the elevator right away. "I own an apartment here in California, for when I come on business. It made more sense than getting a hotel room every time." I explained. We went to the 5th floor and I opened the door with my key. The living room was a good size, with large windows overlooking the nearby street. Connected was a small kitchen and table. There were only two doors, leading to a bathroom and bedroom, to the side. "It's not as impressive as my place in New York, but it does its job. I thought you could stay on the couch if that's ok." I told him.

I nodded, speechless and looked around. "I'm sorry. I think this trip is going to be a lot of me walking around silently in awe." I said with a light laugh.

I smiled. "It's ok, it's cute." I said happily. "What do you want to do first? I can't promise the whole California experience though, without people stalking us." I apologized. "But if you want to go out on your own I understand. I could wait here."

I slipped on sunglasses and a floppy hat. Hopefully I wouldn't be recognized. I stepped out onto the sunny street with Connor. "I miss California weather. When I first moved to NYC, it was snowing. I think I was in shock." I chuckled softly.

"What are you going to do?" I asked. "I have the panel where people ask questions, and then I have to sign stuff all day." I said, making a face.

I smiled, happy he was going. "So what kind of things will you be doing?" I asked him. But before he could answer, several paparazzi bombarded us with cameras. They started yelling questions; a few about the movie, but mostly about Connor. Who he was, if we were dating, and other crazy things. I gave them a polite smile. "No. No comment." I said. I entered the closest building, which happened to be a Starbucks. "Sorry about that." I told him.
