I nodded looking at Bug's big white blaze that was a little stained due to his love to rub it into the ground. "Yeah bug doesn't get the stay clean memo," I replied with a laugh.

I laughed as we walked to the indoor. I tossed my rubber reins over Bug's head and swung lightly from the ground onto his back. Bug stayed still and I rubbed his neck, "I can't believe how much he's grown up since I first started riding him."

I smiled affectionately at Bug's neck. "I bet that's amazing to be able to watch him come so far," I replied. "My mom got Bug when he was two but they NEVER meshed, she fried his brain fighting him a little. She's an amazing equitation trainer but Bug just had so much fight in him she let his antics get to her. Finally she put him out to pasture and I guess I felt the same way too, put on the back burner you know? So we kind of bonded. My granddad said the only reason Bug and I got along was because we were so much a like... I am not sure that's a good thing," I said with a laugh.
