I sat down in class and listened to the teacher. I loved science. The teacher told us to pair up for a lab so I looked around. I walked over to another girl and offered a friendly smile. "Want to work together?" I asked her.

I smiled when a girl came up to me. "Sure! I'm Blair." I said. I scooted my stuff over so she could sit down. "I wonder what were going to do."

"I'm Sam." i said. "And I think we're going to be analyzing different slides under the microscope." I said.

"New Mexico." I said, happy to have made a new friend. We got our equipment and I put a slide under the microscope. "You do the first honors." I smiled.

I looked under the microscope. "Oh blood cells. So cool. Here look." I said turning the microscope toward her.

"That's what I was thinking." We smiled and recorded down our thoughts. Soon enough, the bell rang and class was over. After we cleaned up our stuff I looked at Sam. "Do you want to go get some lunch?"
