Reece I laughed. "Track and Baseball, but mostly baseball." I told her.

I grinned, perking up with the mention of track and baseball. My mom's entire family were die hard SF Giants fans and I had been raised watching the games and going to games when I spent summers in San Francisco. "That's awesome! I do track too. What events I asked? And please don't tell me you like the Dodgers because you seem cool and I would like my opinion of you to stay that way," I joked with a laugh.

Reece "Umm running and hurdles." I told her. "And I lived in Boston before I came here, so no. No Dodgers."

I bit my tongue realizing I was probably freaking him out with my... Loudness. So I toned it down and just nodded slowly, "Oh that's cool. I do hurdles too. !00s or 300s?" I asked with a forced calmness to my tone. "Oh and good for the Dodgers, so you're a Red Sox's fan?"

Reece "Both and yes. I'm a fan of the Red Sox." I smiled.

I nodded slowly keeping my composure. "Me too!" I said a little too loudly. Welp there went me trying to act calm and collected. With a sighed I added. "So what year are you?"

Reece I chuckled. "I'm a junior. You?" I asked in return.

I nodded, "Me too, Junior. I feel like this is the worst year you know? It's like everyone is screaming at us about college but no one thinks we are mature enough to handle college and are always telling us so," I realized I was ranting and I stopped myself with a nervous laugh.

Reece I laughed. "I just plan on having fun." I shrugged.

I nodded. I'd always gone into classes with an extreme amount of stress and pressure. My mother had always told me I had to be the best. A 96 wasn't good if someone else got a 97. This semester though, I was going to have fun so I grinned I replied, "I couldn't agree more."

"I have AP Bio, AP US history, AP Language, Advanced Trig, Advanced Calc, Spanish 2 and Film. What about you?" I asked realizing I might just be about to kill myself with my schedule.

Reece I raised an eyebrow. "You didn't mention you were smart.." I joked. "Advanced math, the rest of my classes are average, um spanish, study hall, and woodshop."

I shrugged, "I didn't want to put you off with my extreme genius," I shot back completely joking since I wasn't really all that smart. "Advanced math huh? Well I know where to go for help," I joked only partly considering math was my most difficult subject and for some reason I'd thought it would be smart to take two advanced math courses. "I always thought woodshop would be interesting," I added honestly since I'd used to help my dad make jumps when my parents were still married.

Reece "Yeah, I like to build stuff on my off time and no other elective really interested me." I admitted.
