The lady doctor finally came in and read the papers before turning to me.
"Ouch," she said with a slight smile.
Duh. I stayed silent.
She mustve caught on because she didnt say anything. "Anyways, jaw and eye I see?"
I nodded and she stepped over looking at my eye for a moment. "Alright, it doesn't seem too bad. Just put some ice on it and it should be fine. Cover it with a towel. Gently close your eye and place the ice bag over your eye for 15 to 20 minutes. Do this every hour as long as you need it for the first 24 hours and obviously don't sleep with the ice and warm towels everyonce and while help as feel as sleeping with a few pillows."
I nodded again silently.

I let out a breath that i had probaly been holding in since the nurse had came in. I was glad it was nothing to serious.

"As for your jaw..." she said before doing a few tests and taking an x ray. "Well, its doesn't look horrible, but you will need ice on that as well and a soft diet for a next week. Try to keep it closed and don't open it as wide as normal."
I nodded.
"Now when is the last time you had a tetanus shot?"
I thought. "More then a year."
She nodded before walking to the drawers. Great. She walked back over and gave me the shot. It never hurt, but I hated getting them for some reason. Probably because I hated all things medical. She finished and put a band aid over it. What? Did she think I was a wimp?
I sighed and sat as she walked away and wrote something down. She handed it to me. "Give this to the nurses in the front, they'll give you some medication." SHe smiled and I got up, walking out.

I walked to the counter and gave them my student ID number - which meant my parents would find out about this - and got the meds before walking out, hardly saying a word.

I walked to the couch and sat down, leaning my head against the back and closing my eyes, letting out a frustrated sigh.

I went to put a movie in but instead decided it might be better to get some anger out with a video game. I put one in and walked back to the couch, handing Austin a controller.
