I walked into the cafe, wearing a soft red V-neck sweater over a blue polo shirt and black jeans. Christian was there, so I walked up to him.
"Hey, Bella." he said, looking uneasy. I smiled.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Let's go outside." I shrugged and walked out behind him. "I think I like you. A lot." he said. I raised my eyebrows. Just like before I came here.
"You think?" I asked. He made a noncommittal motion. "I um, need to think about this." I said, before giving him a hug. Because I felt like it.
He smelled nice. He walked away after my hug.
I think I liked him too. But I couldn't let this jeopardize my YENT tryouts.

M a t t h e w Id been laying low for awhile after the whole Bella mess. I was still POed at myself about it all and I couldn't believe I let her slip away ilke that. I decided I needed a study break and went out for a slushy even though it was cold. I stuffed my hands in my jeans pockets and walked towards the sweet shoppe. Coming around the corner, I saw Bella and the Christian guy. I faltered in my step, wondering if I should keep walked. They hugged and he walked away. I let out a breath. |

I turned around to go back and get some food while thinking about the YENT when I saw Matt. I nodded shortly, yet politely at him.
