I skipped shoot out and hit it lightly causing it to slide across the ice a ways.

I started to skate after it. I was a swift skater but he was a bit faster.

I was just ahead of her as I skated and I knocked it into the goal.

Before he could get it I did another figure skating move. i did a twizzle, skating backward and changing directions multiple times, to try to confuse him and then I skated easily away with the puck.
