C a r l i n [/size][/font]  [/center] After a day of classes, I was tired. My first day of American classes weren't all that terrible, just a little intense, but I survived and I was happy. Connor and I were suppose to meet tonight, but I really didn't want to. I just wanted to be on my own, maybe meet some new people? As my thoughts wandered, my phone rang. Trying to dig it out of my bag, I ran into something, or better yet, someone. My head snapped up. "I am so sorry!" I apologized desperately. My accent came out strong, but I didn't care, I felt bad. |

I was barely paying attention, I hadnt been all day. Someone ran right into me and apologized with a heavy accent. It was probably more my fault than hers. I looked up. "Its okay. It was more my fault."

I half smiled a little uneasily. "No, Im sorry, I wasnt looking." I tried to dampen my accent, but I wasnt sure how much luck I had.

I smiled back. She seemed really nice and her accent was cool too. I figured she was from Ireland. "Where are you from?" I asked wanting to know where her cool accent came from.

"Yeah," I said softly, thinking of my home. "It is sort of a long story. My family had a bit of a crisis, I guess you could say, so I had to leave for a while," I explained softly.
