"Its okay, you didnt know.... Have you been back to the barn yet?" I asked maybe she hadnt seen Flint since the accident and didnt know that he was alright.

A tear rolled down my cheek. I felt terrible for not checking on him. "I don't know!" Tears burst out of my eyes. I put my hands over my face.

I pulled her into a tight hug, kissing her forehead. "Carlin Flint is fine. I checked on him and found out what happend to him before you rode." I said.

I took in a breath before starting. "Carlin, before you rode Flint had been outside with a few other horses, before coming in." I started to explain. "In all his running around and playing, one of the other horses kicked his leg. It was nothing bad and didnt damage anything. It was just sore. So thats why it didnt seem that bad when I first brought it up." I explained as best I could.
