I looked at Ethan. "I promise. He's fine," I gave him a reassuring smile before tapping his sides and letting Flynt into a trot then canter. i cantered a circle then headed for the first jump.

I nodded and watched them. They looked great but Flint still didnt look right.

I counted the strides in my head and we cleared the first jump. I was a bit nervous when he landed oddly and felt funny. He just jumped at the wrong angle. He's fine. I moved him towards the next jump and he launched over it but landed wrong. I heard a sharp noise and didn't realize it was me screaming. I felt a thud. Then everything was black.

I started sprinting over to the two as soon as I heard her scream. "Carlin" I called out as I got to her. I was freaking. I then looked to Flint. Unsure of what to do,I grabbed flints rains and quickly rain my hand down his leg. There was definitally something wrong with it but no time. i turned quickly and nelt nxet to Carlin. "Carlin" I said softly again. I was still freaking out and hoped that Collin was okay with how i handled things and that the two in front of me were okay.

I cussed under my breath and ran over with Ethan. "Carlin, Carlin," I said franticly, kneeling next to her side, opposite from Ethan. "Call the nurse," I demanded, feeling Carlins face and and checking her pulse.

I wiped out my phone as quick as possible and called the nurse, quickly explaining what happened. "There coming." i said frantically. I wanted to keep kneeling with Collin next to Carlin but if she was anything like me she would want to know about her horse. I hesitently turned my atention toward Flint. I rubbed my hand down his neck to calm him and then down his leg. I didnt think anything was broken but it definitally hurt. i pulled out my phone once more and texted one of the stable hand to come get flint and then i turned back towards Carlin. "Tell me you got a pulse." i said slowly to her brother.

It took me a second to find her pulse, but it always had so I didn't stress it. I finally found it and it felt normal. I nodded at Ethan's question after a second when I found it. "Her heads a little warm, so she probably hurt it. I hope to God she doesn't have a concussion. She doesn't need another one." I sighed heavily taking her hand and holding it with both of mine. I bit my lip and waited, I didn't want to move her and risk the chances of hurting her more.

I looked up. "Yeah. Flynt fell on her and she broke her leg and she hurt her back and got a concussion. She didn't remember anything for almost a week," I answered quietly, but causally.

He seemed awkward about the situation, but I ignored it. Id worry about it later.
Carlin
Pain shot through my body and I moaned, my eyes staying closed when I winced. My leg felt like someone was running over it with a truck. My breathing increased a little but I didn't open my eyes. It hurt so bad.

I heard a familiar voice and opened my eyes and saw Ethan and Collin looking at me. "W...what happen...?" I trailed off, not really of much that was going on.

"You fell. Stay down, the nurse is coming." I replied softly. I looked up to Collin. "Keep her still, Im going to get Flint some help. Ill be right back." I said. I kissed Carlins forehead and got up, starting to quickly but carefuly lead Flint out. I didnt want to leave Carlin but the horse needed help to.

I faded in and out, but I got the just of it and didn't move, not that I had the energy anyways. He kissed my forehead but I didn't want him to go. I tried to call him back, but I wasn't able to. I had no voice or energy left. I was in so much pain.
"Carlin, sweetie, your fine."
I looked over and saw Collin's warm eyes on me. He stroked my arm. He didn't look worried at all, but I knew he was.
"Stay with me. Everything is alright..."
