I glanced up to see a guy look me over and then lock his eyes on Carlin as he began to walk over. My defensiveness alost taking over when I realized, "Is that your brother?" I asked.

I turned and saw my familiar, dorky looking brother walking over. "Oh my gosh, Collin!" I screeched and ran over. I jumping into his arms and he caught me, laughing. After a second, he put me down, but didn't let go totally. He was grinning.
"I see you missed me," I observed. I missed his voice and he familiar accent that mine never was for some reason.
I grinned. "Maybe."

My smiled faded a bit when I remembered Ethan and that Id have to introduce them.
Collin noticed. "Whats up?" A concerned look crossed his face.
"What? Nothing, never mind," I ied and faked a smile.
I knew he didn't believe me, but oh well.
"Um, Collin...this is Ethan," I turned a bit so they could see each other. I bit my lip.

I stood up a tiny bit straighter and held out my hand. "Hi, Im Ethan." I said politely, my newzealand accent a bit heavy.

I shook the boys hand, wondering if the two were dating. I noticed his accent and pinpointed it as a New Zealand accent. "Collin," I replied straightly.
Carlin
Collin's straight face worried me. I prayed to God that he would approve of him and just leave him alone. Please, please, please...

"As well as you," Collin replied before looking at me expectantly. Uh oh. He wanted me to tell him we were dating. I bit my lip and looking at Ethan nervously.

I shifted my weight towards Carlin and sliped my hand under hers, intwining my fingers in hers. I smiled softly at her, Collin would now know we were dating and i waited for his responce.

I half smiled at Ethan glad he did that and looked back to Collin, biting my lip.
"So you are dating," he confirmed.
I nodded slowly.
"Hmm..I see." He looked back to Ethan and studied him.
I hated this. This was not my funny, sweet, amazing brother. This was...like my father. It was horrible. I never wanted to tell Collin about my boyfriends because of it.
I moved closer to Ethan and secretly elbowed him. He needed to say something to make this less awkward and so Collin would think better of him. I knew how these things worked.
