I walked in, quickly explained to the dorm moniter why we were in here and then headed up to Carlins dorm.

I was sure I fell asleep on the way up to my room because i didn't remember anything.
Collin
I found Carlins room and pushed the door open, thankful her roommate was gone.

I felt Ethan lay me down and I moaned in pain. I winced as my uncasted toe hit the bed wrong and shot pain up my leg. "Ethan," I whispered. "Please don't lea...." I trailed off.
Collin
I knew she probably didn't want me to stay. "Ill be here with you, Carlin," I said softly stepping up to her beside. Her eyes shifted over to me but she didn't respond and looked back to Ethan before they fluttered shut again.

I held her hand "I cant stay. The dorm moniter wont let me." I said softly. "But Collin will be here and he'll take good care of you."

"But..." I struggled to say. "He would...understand..." I didn't get how I could be this tired and out of breath. It didn't make sense, but I knew more then anything, I wanted Ethan to stay. I needed him to stay. "Don't leave," I whispered, a tear in the corner of my eye.

I knelt down next to her bed. I knew Collin didnt want me there and that I might get into trouble but Carlin really wanted me there. "Ill stay as long as I can." I said softly.

"Come here," I whispered. I wanted him to hold me, I felt so alone and scared. I still wasn't sure if I understood everything. I knew Collin was standing there, but I didn't care. I was so mad at him. I didn't care what he thought.

I sat on the edge of her bed by her head and let her lay her head in my lap. I gently stroked her hair.

I moved so I was comfortable but still close to him. I closed my eyes and he stroked my hair. I was so glad to have him and be with me, but for the first time, it occurred to me what happened.

Looking at the two, I decided it would be best for me to go. Ever so silently, I slipped out the door unnoticed.

I looked up and saw that Collin had gone. I was going to get in so much trouble but I didnt care as long as Carlin was comortable.

I sighed. "He cares too much...He needed to leave me alone...." I whispered. I was so sick of his protective ways. "He thinks of you as an animal that needs training..." Okay, maybe that wasn't exactly true, but I was fed up with my brother.
