I sat on the bech in the courtyard, wearing a thin gray v neck long sleeve shirt and jeggings. Usually I'd rush through the cold, but it burned calories. I hadn't eaten in five day, besides tea, but that didn't provide calories, just sped up metabolism. I pulled my phone out and replied to a text I'd gotten from a British girl I'd met at a show over the summer. Sorry, gtg! xx I sent, before getting up. My head spun and a loud ringing echoed in my ears. I felt myself fall to the ground as I fell into the lovely, black numbness.

I walked through the courtyard carrying a gym bag, planning to go to the stables. Something caught my eye and I looked down. I jumped; it was Bella. I kneeled down and felt her pulse. I took CPR training before I came to Canterwood. My mind raced as I tried to remember the first steps. I pushed on her chest, then opened her mouth and breathed in. I didn't even think how awkwards this was. I did it a few more times, and I think she started to wake up. "Are you ok?" I said. That was freaky.

I was vaguely aware of someone near me. I was woken up by Cris. I missed the dark, numbness where everything was perfect. I looked into Cris' eyes. He asked me something, but the metallic ringing in my ears blocked it out.

I walked to the courtyard with my backpack ready to study outside while it was still nice. I reached the courtyard and what do I see? A couple kissing on the ground. Classy. Then I looked it was Bella. And....cris. A pit fell in my stomach and my eyes reared up. I opens my mouth to say somthing but I couldn't force words to come out. I just but my lip and turned around to leave.

"Are you ok?" I asked again, shaking her a little. I glanced over and saw ash. Wow, this probably looked really bad. I wanted to go after her, but I had to make sure Bella was ok. "We should go to the hospital."

"I'm fine." I protested weakly. My sight was spinning and there was ringing inmy ears but I didn't want to go to the hospital. They'd fatten me up.

Thank god, he hadn't tried to get me into a hospital yet. I did what he said, slowly sitting up while drinking the water.

I reddened slightly but didn't say anything. I wondered vaguely if he felt how thin I was and how my bones were beginning to really protrude.

I rolled my eyes at her blush. "You owe me one." I muttered. I stood up and brushed off my jeans. "Ok, I would prefer if you walked, but Ill carry you if I need to."

"Boys aren't allowed in the girls dorm." I said. "I think I can walk." hopefully he wasn't forcing me to the clinic... I slowly got up, somewhat shakily.
