I was sitting out in the music room, my lunch sitting besides me as I held onto an acoustic guitar and there was an open notebook in front of me. I chewed on my pen slightly as I stared at the words scrawled out on my paper. After a momen, I put the pen down and played a few chords on my guitar, trying to put music to the words.

I was simply wandering around the school, trying to figure out where everything was when I heard the chords of a guitar. Looking up from my map (which, truth be told was not very helpful), I noticed to see a door partically opened. Walking over, I pushed it open slightly more and stuck my head in. Glancing over, I saw a girl with pink hair and her back turned to me, playing on an accoustic guitar. The way she played it absentmindly, made me think that she was trying to put something together, "Trying to write a song?" I asked now, hoping that I hadn't startled her too much.

I was almost too lost in my music to even notice that somebody came into the room until I heard a girl ask a question. Glancing over my shoulder now, I saw a blond girl standing in the room now. I gave her a smile, "Yeah, trying to put some music to words," I replied now, "You're new, arn't you? I haven't seen you around before."

"Yeah, tryin gto put some music to words," she replied, "You're new, arn't you? I haven't seen you around before," she stated now. I simply smiled, "Guilty as charged," I replied now as I walked over and sat down besides her, "Whats your song about?"

I smiled at her as she came over and sat down next to me. When she asked about what my song was about, I simply laughed, "How relationships are silly, that's all," I replied, "You know, typical teenage stuff."

She smiled at me when I sat down and quickly laughed, "How relationships are silly, that's all. You know, typical teenage stuff," she added on now. A small smile lingered on my lips, "Did you just get out of a breakup?"

Whitney

I still fiddled with the strings, my fingers gliding over them and trying to find some sort of tune, but that really did not seem to be working out for me. A snort of laughter escaped me at her question, "Oh, heaven's no. Nobody here is worth it and all the good ones are taken by all the lead girls," I replied now, beaming a smile, "You know how school is, it really is like all the tv shows you see."

I listened as sa snort of laughter escaped her, "Oh, heaven's no. NObody here is worth it and all the goo dones are taken by all the elad girls," she said now witha smile, "You know how school is, it really is like all the tv shows you see," she replied now. I honestly had been hoping that she wasn't going to say something like that, "I was home school prior to this because of surfing. I don't really like...well, mean girls."

I could tell that my words had startled her a little, but oh well, somes I say things without really thinking, although, it did not take me long to understand her when she explained that she had been home schooled, "Oh dear, and your parents just threw you here? I can't understand why, it's now like you can do a lot of surfing around here," I commented absent mindly, "Although, that being said, I'm sure you'll make friends."
