ETHAN I ran up and down the gym dribbling the basket ball and then stopped and threw the ball into the air, making a three point shot.

C a r l i n Wearing www.polyvore.com/carlin_running/set?id=43906334I walked into the gym in the mood to exercise. I dropped my bag in the bleachers and turned to see a boy. Okay, so normally I wasn't the type to get flustered around boys, but he was pretty gorgeous. I bit my lip and took a deep breath. Hopefully I didn't make a fool of myself. "Um," I muttered softly before speaking up. "You don't mind if I use the gym, too, do you?" I asked. Opps...He had probably noticed my accent and most guys seemed to be drawn away by it, or so it seemed. Sigh...

I looked up when I heard someone come in. When the girl spoke i heard her accent clearly. I couldnt believe someone else hear was from another country. I smiled at her, She was pretty hot. "No it's fine" I said my New Zealand accent, heavy.

I noticed he had an accent almost immanently. Oh thank God. I smiled at myself. "Thanks," I said softly walking over to the other end of the gym to start lunges. Hmm...Before I started, I decided that maybe I should introduce myself. That wouldn't be odd would it? "Im Carlin, by the way," I said softly with a slight, shy smile.

I watched her for a moment and then turned back to the hoop. I easily shot the ball and it went straight in the net.

Pausing in a lunge postion for a second, I saw him shoot the ball. It seemed perfect, but I wasnt a basketball player, so what would I know?

I shot the ball again but I knew the moment it left my hands it was a bad shot. It hit high on the back board and flung back at me but off to the right. I headed straight towards Carlin. "Look out!" I called out in a heavy accent.

I heard him yell, but before I could register what he was saying, a pain overflowed my forehead, knocking me to the ground. I winced, "Ahh," I groaned, bring my hand to my head.

My hand glued to my forehead, I managed to lean up on my elbow. "Ugh, yeah," I mumbled.

I moved my hand gently over hers, slowly lifting it from her forehead. "Let me look." I said quietly but politely trying to help her.

I swear my insides tingled when he touched me, but the pain caused it to go away to soon. I moved my hand away to let him see. I probably had a giant, ugly bruise now.

Her forehead was red where the ball hit but if we got Ice on it quick enough it wouldn't bruise. I got up ran to my gym bag and then ran back to her with a small ice pack that I always took with me to work out. I bent back down next to her and slowly brought the ice pack to her forehead. "This might be cold." I said softly.
