I started slowly walking Flame. He jumped ahead so he could be faster than Rose, but I held him back.

I nodded "Good job" I turned Cleo around in a circle and she pretty much settled (after rearing at the open door)

I asked Cleo to pick up a canter and she immediately bucked, throwing me. I fell and got back on my feet right away. "Halt." I yelled to her. She stopped in her tracks. Ahhh, the beauty of having a voice trained horse. "Sorry" I yelled to Cris "I'm gonna try that again"

"Yup" I cantered Cleo twice around the arena and she did fine. "Wanna jump now? He's good but really powerful and will drag you towards the jumps so just sit back"

I hopped on Cleo "Stand" I told her firmly. She stood in place as I went and set up five three-foot jumps. I walked over to her and mounted up "Ready?"

I laughed "Okay" I cantered Cleo in a circle and then turned her towards the first jump. I felt her rush forward and I pulled her abruptly to a halt in front of the jump. I turned her back around and cantered her again. Then, when I pushed her towards the jump, she stayed at my speed and took it with ease. She flew over the others, getting the message that I wasn't in the mood for funny business I patted her neck "Your turn!" I yelled

I nodded and circled Flame for a loongg time..... I was kind of nervous to jump him. I finnaly got him to canter towards the first jump. He jumped over with ease, but I made sure not to let him get to excited. I slowed down a notch and jumped the last ones.... he wasnt as bad as I thought!
