I just shook my head, bit my lip, and unclipped Flash. I clipped on her lead and hopped on, riding her straight out of the barn and holding back tears

I kicked Flash to a gallop and went as fast as I could, away from the stables. I wrapped my hands tight around her mane and held on tight, closing my eyes. That is, until a tree branch hit me and sent me flying. I hit the ground with a thud and it all went black

I saw stormis crash and cantered over there. I jumpednoffnwhiinie before she had the chance to stop. I knew she would stay, nut I grabbed flah's reins and tied them to a tree. "Stormi?" I asked, bending over her.
