I shook my head, tears streaming down my face. I unclipped Alona, clipped on her lead rope, ran with her out of the stables and jumped on her, cantering off into the woods

I started to cry harder as I heard Caleb yell after me. I knew it was unsafe so I slowed Alona to a halt and just hugged her neck

I sat back up and turned Alona around. I can't risk her safety just because I am afraid. I walke dher back to outside of the stables and dismounted. I lead Alona down the aisle and stopped next to Caleb and Haven "You're right. I can't run. We need to talk about this." I said with a sigh
