I tightened the girth again and hopped on. I picked up a canter circle, then aimed him towards the two- jump combo at about 2'6 ft each. He cleared the first nicely, nothing too special,and tried to wiggle out before the second, but still cleared it well. We turned the corner and I aimed him at the third jump. He picked up speed when I asked him and soared over the 3 ft one. I fished with a canter circle, then slowed to a free walk. I hopped off, loosened the girth, rolled up the stirtups, and started to cool him out on foot

I stepped back and watched them. Chance worked perfect underneith Stormi. They finsihed and she dismounted. "Nice," I called out happily.

I finished walking him out and walked with him over to Matt in the center "Am I approved?" I smiled

"Sounds good. And we can discuss his exercise schedule." I patted Chance's hay belly "He could stand to loose a few pounds before your mother sees him" I started leading him towards the stables

I took his halter off the hook and unbridled him. He was a great horse and made no fuss. I clipped him on the crossties and wrapped his bridle

As Stormi pulled off the bridle, I slipped the light hunt seat saddle an hunter green pad from his back. I took it and yhe bride back to the tack room and returned.

I started to curry his saddle area "So, I'd say he needs to be ridden/lunged for atleast an hour daily to loose the pounds you don't want your mother to see. I can ride him 3-4 times a week and if Mr. Conner asks, I'll just say I'm helping raise Chance's confidence over high fences for you. If you can't ride 3 days a week, lunging is an alternative"
