I glanced over at one of the riders and had to admit she was pretty good. I circled Pi around and jumped him over a 3'6" jump. I felt him chip the top pole and when we landed I circled him around again and saw we knocked it over. "It's ok, boy." I said, patting his neck. I knew it was my fault because I started the take-off to early.

I cantered her smoothly around the ring and took a 5.2ft jump with ease. She suprised me how good she was soemtimes. She's got to be my best mare.

I just ignored her. "Good girl." I crooned, halting her and backing her up slowly, then with a slightly faster pace. I spurred her lightly into a smooth, rocking canter and took her around the arena. We approached a roll-top jump. I'd never done one with her before, but seeing as she could easily and beautifully take a 6 foot, I knew we'd have no problem. I counted in my head down from three, and at the precise second I leaned up her neck, feeling the wind on my face as she went over.
OOC: no offense but I never actually said she took it crazily or anything. She made a quick turn. Don't take it so harshly.

I rolled my eyes as we landed softly. I cantered her across the diagonal and we lept over the 6 foot again, then a few feet after two bounce jumps. i grinned. "Good girl!" I patted her neck.

I laughed and headed for teh six foot jump again. Fleur did it nicely and we went over a small combination perfectly

I took a deep breath. Filter...filter your thoughts. I concentrated on doing half-seat. We did it perfectly, my body never ONCE bouncing down, or my legs quivering ONCE. I kept going around the arena and passed Fleur.

I ignored the other girls and set Pi on a lot combination. He cleared the first but chipped the second. I frowned and bit my lip. I patted his neck and set him to a walk to cool off. He was an older horse that couldn't be ridden forever.

I shook my head slightly. "Anger isues..." I muttered, picking up the pace and turning in a full circle, then did a flying lead change.

I cantered Fleur towards the jump but she refused, picking up on my tenseness. I gave her a smack with my crop but she just backed up. I spurred her and cantered her in a tight circle before sending her at the jump. She cleared it but overjumped. I gave her another smack and kept cantering her

"You try to ride this devil mare" I said to her as I drove her past Aly and made her jump the jump again. She took it but not good enough. She was going to keep doing this until she got it right.
