I scoffed. "No. Way. It's not JUST about you." I set up two more three-foot jumps and then set up a vertical. I mounted and cantered Kiss around once before I pushed her towards the first 2 ft. Then, we turned and did another 2 ft. Straight ahead, I gave her more rein. I counted in my head, and at the exact moment she lifted her feet up high and stretched her neck out, jumping the oxar perfectly. Then, I turned her left and we made a sweeping turn and jumped the vertical that was on the diagonal. For the last jump, I went across the center and did a perfect flying lead change. We took the last 3 ft perfectly. Kiss shook her mane as we cantered around, then I halted her.

"Fine" I circled Knight and he picked up the canter. I turned him towards the first jump and he took it easily. As he cantered to the second jump, Kiss pulled on the reins trotting two steps forward and Knight freaked out, sending me flying through the air. I hit the jump in front of me and Knight galloped around the arena. I sat up and groaned

As Knight galloped around the arena, Kiss spooked and bolted. I slammed into her neck and almost toppled over her head.

I got up and my ankle shot with pain. "I think I sprained my ankle. Get off Kiss and find someone to catch Knight. I've gotta get to the nurse's"

"Oh, Stormi, there's just one teensy problem." I said, annoyed, as Kiss tugged the reins out of my hands and I managed to stay on. "MY HORSE IS BOLTING!" I said. Kiss then bucked when Knight galloped our way.

For a few seconds, Kiss halted. In a hurry, I pressed speed dial and called Nikki. "NIKKI! Cometotheindoorarenarightnoww!" I said, hurriedly just before Kiss spooked again.

A few minutes later, I walked into the arena and almost got trampled. "Woah, girl." I said as i approached Kiss. I slowly took her reins and helped Alex down.
