I nodded and took Stella cantering towards the course. Cross country made me nervous cause Stella spooked so much. We got over the first few jumps easily. We got across the creek fine and I smiled. It was going well. Now there was only one jump left, the stone wall. Stella hated the stone wall. I squeezed my legs harder, knowing she was going to slow down. I could tell she was a little tense, but she got over the jump. It was kind of an awkward jump, but at least she got over. I smiled and patted her neck at the end of the course.

I smiled and dismounted Stella. I could walk her back as a cool down. I thought about my test and sighed. I had done ok, but I couldn't get the jump I knocked down out of my mind.
