Abby  I went to the stables and taked up Danny. I took my time brushing and tacking. Then I walked him out to the outdoor arena and got on. we just walked for about 5 minutes, while I thought about things. I finally asked for a trotand Danny picked up a smooth almost floaty trot. I posted with him and did a few figure eights. |

I walked in on a lazy petri, nodding at the girl there before warming up. His trot was painfully slow. When we bantered, that too was slower than death. I gave him a few ponykick's and whacked him with the crop behind my leg.

I nodded back to the girl. Not completely focused, I picked up a canter. Danny could sence I was out of it and didnt move. I snapped back to reality and gave him a ltitle nudge. He then moved into his signiture rocking horse like canter.

I finally got petri going. "About time." I quipped to myself. After two laps, we dropped to the trot, then the walk.

After a few more laps I brought Danny back to a trot.

I finally brought Danny back to a walk. I patted his shoulder and glanced up at the girl looking at me. I gave hera soft smile.

"Hi, Im Abby." I said semi shyly as I started to walk Danny in her direction, careful not to let Dany get to close to the other horse.
