I rolled my eyes and blocked them out. I trotted Flash and whispered to her "C'mon girlie, let's show them a real ride". With that, i picked up a medium canter and made an opening circle. I angled her towards the first jump and she took it with ease. I took her deep into the corners and did teh same for the next three jumps. On the forth jump, she got a little too energetic and over jumped by a few inches. After the landing, I collected her and she settled in nicely for the last jump. I made a closing circle and trotted back over to teh group, patting her neck.

"Two," I said. I saw Stormi's face and rolled my eyes. "I was going to give you a one, but I didn't want to completely crush you." I said. "She got way to excited and energetic. It's like she had never seen a simple course before. Like Bella said, if it was longer she it would have been okay. You could have squeezed a half halt in there somewhere to calm her down, but you didn't. You went on auto-pilot and thought she knew what she was doing."

I nodded. True about the energetic. Only, she hasn't been ridden for 5 days because of her cuts. But two really? Someone's jealous...
