"Oooh, no answer! Another non-multitasker." I cracked the whip again and Sassy extended her trot. I yell "Halt" And moved the whip onto her shoulder. She halted and lowered her head.

Antares suddenly stopped and stared at the horse. Crap. His ears pointed back.

I moved the whip behind Sassy and flicked it. She didn't move. I smacked her butt with it and she cantered smoothly. I looked at the other horse with his ears back and stopped.

I patted his neck. "Shhhh...." his old owners used to use a whip on him. I turned him away from the other two and spoke to him softly. "It's okay, boy. You're safe."

Suddenly Sassy must have spooked because she galloped forward, yanking the lunge out of my hands. "Sassy, HALT!" I yelled. She showed no signs of stopping and headed right towards the other horse "Halt!" I shouted again

I walked back to the arena when I heard shouting. I hopped over the gate and scrambled in. "Need me to catch Sassy?" I called to Ashley

Antares was out of his mind crazy as the horse approached him. He neighed and galloped forward, a little bit of the school pony in him beginning to show as he reared and tried to kick the other horse, protecting his rider. He galloped into the middle, and the next thing I knew I was lying flat on my back, blood in my mouth, and blackness engulfing me.

I yelled "It's okay, I'll get her." I ran after Sassy and she reared coming down near me, knocking my arm. "Ah!" I yelled "Don't come near her! She'll just get worse!" I screamed!.

I couldn't breathe, I knew the wind was knocked out of me. I couldn't talk, just tried taking deep breaths, even when everything was black. I felt a velvety nose nudge me, and I knew it was Antares.

I ran after Sassy, clutching my arm. She chased the other horse and I gave up. I ran to the fallen girl "Can you get up? You need to get out NOW!" I helped her up

"Help her I'll get Antares!" I said, knowing Sassy was hopeless until she was alone. I grabbed Antares reins and tried to talk to him soothingly. "Easy boy, easy....Shhh." I patted his neck until he was calm
