I nodded and looked away. I flash of silver on the arena floor caught my eye. I gave Bonnie's reins to Bella and dismounted. I slowly walked over to pick it up; i didnt want any horses to get spooked. I instantly recognized it at my ring. Relif, then guilt flooded through me. How could I be so foolish to loose it? I walked over to Bonnie and took is reins. "Sorry." I mumbled, putting it back on my finger.

I worked for a long time. Bonnie's chest started to darken, but I still didnt stop. Not until Doug came in. "Barns closing in 10 minuets." He said. "You kids better go untack your horses."

I dismounted Bonnie and tied him in crossties and untacked his stuff. I looked out at the full moon and stars. It reminded me of the nights I would spend with T and Josie at her barn. A tear slid down my cheek. I harshly wiped it away with my sleeve. I caught Bella watching me and looked away.

I sighed, annoyed. Can't even acknowledge me? Nice. I led Dixie into her stall after a quick once-over with the brush. I barley rode or worked her, so that was all she needed
