I walked Stella into the indoor arena; wearing a crisp white shirt, black breeches, black paddock boots, and a grey vest. Some of my best riding clothes. I put my black helmet over my French braid and mounted Stella. I smiled at Mr. Connor. "I'm ready when you are, sir!" I chirped.

I commanded Stella to all of the points Mr Connor gave me. I knew we were a little rocky because I haven't had much time to rode lately, but Stella was being awesome. She walked at the right pace to g, than speed up a little into a sitting trot to d.

I nodded and did what he said. Stella lost focus for a sec, but I pulled her attation back to me before finishing Mr. Connor's directions.

"How about cross country?" Show jumping was my best, and I wanted to end on a high note. I gave stella's shoulder a pat.

"OK" i smiled. I led her to the course. "Ok there are a few tricky jumps, but you should be fine" i said assuringly.

"Ok." I smiled. Once Mr. Connor signaled me to go, I cantered Stella up the smooth, grassy hill. I jumped her over the first few jumps with ease. Then we came to a striped jump; meant to scare the horses. Right before we jumped, a squirrel scurried out of the bushes. Stella spooked, but still tried to jump. Once she hit the ground on the other side, I felt her favoring her right leg. I instantly dismounted, scared. Where was Mr. Connor?
"Help!" I yelped through the empty woods.

I saw the whole thing. I ran into the woods. I felt her leg. It wasnt to seriouse. "LEts take her back to the barn" i said. "We can call the vet, and if you wish, you can test on a different horse, or wait till she heals" i said

I sighed. "Um I guess I can do whatever you want. I would prefer to test on her, but if you need results immediately, I can test on a school horse."
