  I was rather bored, and there was nothing better for me to do other than to take pictures. Normally I would go visit Stereo but I think Mr. Conners was using him for a lesson. That's what always sucked about not owning my own horse, the one horse I do have a bond with gets used a lot for lessons since, of course, I don't own him. The stables was always the best place to hide anyways, considering my falling out with my old friends and boyfriend, I was like the outcast and shunned so the only place I really did seem to find peace was at the barn. I brought my Cannon along with me, hoping that maybe I could catch a horse and rider to take pictures of for action shots, or just pictures around the barn in general. As I stepped into the aisles, the familiar horsey smell welcomed me and it brought a smile to my face.

M a t t [/size]  [/center] Yawning as I stepped into the barn, I heard the neigh of horses in the distance. I shoved my hands deeper in my pockets trying to remember the last time I was here to see Chase. I sighed realizing if my mom knew about it, Id be dead. |

I walked down the aisles of the stalls right now, looking for horses to take pictures of. Since feeding had just finished, a lot of them were more preoccupied with their food rather than looking to see who was walking around. Which was okay, I'm sure I would be able to find somebody soon enough who was done with their meal. I could hear Mr. Conner in the ring with a group of students, and I figured that it would probably be best if I didn't interrupt their class with a photo session. Just then, a horse caught my eye. It was sticking it's head out, glancing over at me. A smile broke on my lips as I lifted my camera and took a picture and walked over, the name 'Chase' was on the name plate, "Hey there," I murmured now, my hand reaching out and petting the horse, "Looking for somebody?"

Turning down Chase's aisle, I saw a girl standing in front of his stall. Good. So he hadn't been totally alone. I walked up to his stall. "Hey," I greeted softly to the girl.

I had been too caught up with the horse that I didn't even realize that somebody was walking towards me now. When the horse turned his head, I finally did realize that I wasn't alone. Glancing over now, a guy greeted me softly with a 'hey'. I bit my lip for a moment, before finally replying, "Hi...sorry, is he yours?"

I gave her a slight quizzical look. "Your fine. And yeah. Well my moms, but same thing," I smiled softly.

When he gave me a quizzical look, I could feel my cheeks heat up. Well, this was embarrassing, I probably said something stupid. If he was talking to me, of course this was probably his horse. My gaze looked back at Chase now as the boy talked, stating how it was his mom but the same thing. Glancing back towards him, I smiled awkwardly, "Well, he's a nice horse."

I offered the slightest of smiles to the boy now, "You're welcome," I replied as I glanced back towards the horse. Should I introduce myself? Maybe, if I was planning on taking pictures of this horse, but then again, I didn't even know. Socializing with other people was kind of hard nowadays. I glanced back over at the boy for a moment before finally saying, "Uh...I'm Harlow...by the way."

"Pleasure to meet you," I replied now, glancing down and playing with a lock of my hair, still feeling awkward. At his question, my gaze snapped back up to him now and I just smiled slightly, "Well, I like to take pictures." I offered, I tended to think that the title 'photographer' actually meant that you were good, not some teenage girl at school.
